The lifeboat launched following a request to assist with a 61 yr old lady with a suspected broken leg, on the foreshore near Warblington. Medics from an ambulance were in attendance but could not get to the scene with their vehicles. The lifeboat + stretcher arrived and carefully transferred the lady on the stretcher to the lifeboat and ferried her to the Ship Inn car park where the ambulance awaited. Once ashore she was taken to hospital and the lifeboat was stood down.
