McMurdo provides a range of products to the marine safety electronics market with the introduction of an emergency position indicating radio beacon (EPIRB) product in support of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) regulations. Additionally McMurdo has developed its own search and rescue transponder (SART) and also a range of GMDSS VHF radios.
